punching above its weight
The C4 was down-country before the term even existed. Designed to be a highly capable short-travel bike built for long days on the pedals, yet making you feel like you're ripping on an enduro bike on the descents.
The idea for the C4 came to life while living on the border of Bavaria (Germany) and Austria, where the trails feature less total elevation loss and are not extremely steep. Soft forest soil reduces the need for suspension travel and the sprinty sections in between the descents require pedalling efficiency. The C4’s highly progressive rear suspension characterictic works better on shorter travel bikes, giving you that bottomless feel. The layout also offers plenty of space for water bottles or other storage needs. Nevertheless, if you are keen on longer travel progressive rear ends, the design can be modified to your needs.
